Twin Temple: Majestic Ventura Theater - Ventura, CA - 9/24/26
Satanic doo-wop band Twin Temple will be releasing their third album Doomed Lovers on October 9th, 2026. In the meantime, they have been actively touring in support of the album while spreading the word of Satan to the masses. The lyrics to their songs include topics of love, sex, feminism and LGBT-rights. They have played with some of the biggest bands in the world including Ghost and Danzig. This year, they are touring supporting Danzig. In between, they had several headlining shows. One of those headlining shows was at the Majestic Ventura Theater in Ventura, California. The venue ended up nicely packed with many of the fans dressed up for the occasion.
The lights went out and the venue cheered with excitement as the band members came out one by one. Singer Alexandra James and guitarist Zachary James are both a married couple and the driving force behind the band. The first song played was “The Devil (Didn’t Make Me Do It).” Their sound is made to mimic rock and roll from the 1950’s and 1960’s and it was beautifully done. Alexandra and Zachary wore flashy matching outfits and danced the whole night. the next two songs were “I Am a Witch” and “Let’s Have a Satanic Orgy.” The audience was loving all the songs and were seen either singing along or dancing to the music. Being that they were a theatrical band, Twin Temple made use of a variety of props which included swords, a skull, holy water, and blood. Other songs on their setlist included “Lucifer, My Love,” “Haunt Me,” “Sex Magick,” and “Burn Your Bible.” The last song of the night was “I'm Wicked”. After the song and during the instrumental song "In Nox," Alexandra held up a goblet filled with blood (or something like it), drank the blood, then spit it out at the audience. The audience naturally welcomed the gesture. The song ended and Twin Temple thanked the audience for coming out, then left the stage. It was an amazing show and hopefully they come back to Ventura real soon.
