Lords of Acid: The Echoplex - Los Angeles, CA - 5/20/26
Belgian industrial metal/electronic legends Lords of Acid announce their 2026 USA tour. This tour would be called the “Cheeky and Freaky Tour.” Support would come from Mz Neon, Tony & The Kiki, Princess Superstar, and Dead on a Sunday. One of the last stops on the tour was the Echoplex in Los Angeles, California. The show was nearly sold-out and was set to be an unforgettable and hot night.
The venue was packed almost to capacity as the lights went out and the crowd cheered with excitement. The band members made their way to the stage as they started their show with “Scrood Bi U.” The last member to come out was Carla Harvey as she started to deliver her siren vocals onto the audience. Even though it was near the end of the tour, all the members were still full of energy. For the second and third song, two fan favorites were played which were “Do What You Wanna Do” and “Lover”. Harvey next mentioned that they have a new album coming out soon and, for this tour, they would be playing a new song. The new song is called “Dream Bow.” One of the highlights of the show was when Harvey picked out a male in the audience and asked him, “Mister Machoman is it true? That all the girls wanna cum on you!?” That meant the next song was “Mister Machoman” and it’s a super fun song to sing along to. Another song highlight was during the song, “Rubber Doll.” The audience threw out blow up sex dolls into the audience and they were tossed around. The main highlight of the show was during the song, “Pussy.” Harvey invited any and all women to come on stage and dance for the whole song. It was a glorious sight. LOA talked more about the upcoming new album and decided to play two more new songs which feature two of the singers from their support acts. The first song was “El Mundo Esta Loco” and Tony from Tony & The Kiki. For the second song, Princess Superstar was invited to sing the new song “Karaoke Superstar.” A few more songs were played including “Rough Sex”, “The Most Wonderful Girl,” and “The Crablouse.” Because what better way to end a show with a song about pubic lice. LOA finished up their set and left the stage. After a quick break, they came back out for a couple of encores. The first encore was “Out Comes the Evil”, and it made the crowd go wild as the show still wasn’t over yet. To finish up the show, LOA played “Out Comes the Evil”, and it got the crowd dancing to the music. To end their set, Harvey said, “Los Angeles! I wanna sit on your face!” and so, the ending song was “I Sit on Acid.” It’s a fun and super catchy song to sing along to as the only lyrics to the song are “Sit on your face! I wanna sit on your face!” LOA wrapped up their show, thanked the audience for coming out and then left the stage once again. It was an unbelievable night and anyone who went to any of the shows will tell you that it was one of the best shows they’ve attended this year.
