Lords of Acid: Teragram Ballroom - Los Angeles, CA - 6/27/25
Belgian industrial metal legends Lords of Acid announce their 2025 USA tour. This tour would be called the “Praise the Lords Tour.” Support would come from Little Miss Nasty and Lucia Cifarelli of German industrial metal band KMFDM. One of the last stops on the tour was the Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles, California. The show was nearly sold-out and was set to be an unforgettable night.
Lucia Cifarelli has her own solo music and was out on this tour to play for her fans. Her music and singing were both beautiful and on point. She easily had the fans eating out of her hands with her performance. After several songs, she sadly had to say goodbye. Up next were the dancers in Little Miss Nasty. A show like this is best if you go in not knowing anything about it. Letting their performance speak for itself is the best way to experience it. They would have a variety of poles to dance on and would dance to various songs from bands like Rob Zombie, In This Moment, and Nine Inch Nails. The dances were mesmerizing and was impossible to look away. Every song had something different to offer from outfits, scenarios, and dance moves. Eventually, it was time for their show to come to an end. Two great performances had already taken place, and now it was time for the headlining band of the tour.
The venue was packed almost to capacity as the lights went out and the crowd cheered with excitement. The band members made their way to the stage as they started their show with “Voodoo U.” The last member to come out was Carla Harvey as she started to deliver her siren vocals onto the audience. Even though it was near the end of the tour, all the members were still full of energy. For the third song, Harvey mentioned that, for this tour, she insisted that she gets to sing the song “Lover”. LOA obliged and they played the song. One of the highlights of the show was when they played one of their most popular songs “(A Treatise on the Practical Methods Whereby One Can) Worship the Lords.” It featured a member of Little Miss Nasty coming out with a sign that read “Praise the Lords” on one side and “Fuck the Rest” on the other. It went well with the chorus of the song. Another song highlight was during the song, “Rubber Doll.” The audience threw out blow up sex dolls into the audience and they were tossed around. The main highlight of the show was during the song, “Pussy.” Harvey invited any and all women to come on stage and dance for the whole song. It was a glorious sight. A few more songs were played including “I Sit on Acid”, “Scrood Bi U,” and “The Crablouse.” Because what better way to end a show with a song about pubic lice. LOA finished up their set and left the stage. After a quick break, they came back out for a couple of encores. The first encore was “Sex Bomb”, and it made the crowd go wild as the show still wasn’t over yet. To finish up the show, LOA played “Out Comes the Evil”, and it got the crowd dancing to the music. LOA wrapped up their show, thanked the audience for coming out and then left the stage once again. It was an unbelievable night and anyone who went to any of the shows will tell you that it was one of the best shows they’ve attended this year.
