Lindsey Stirling: The Greek Theatre - Los Angeles, CA - 7/30/26
Violin extraordinaire Lindsey Stirling announced her Duality Untamed Summer Tour in support of her seventh studio album Duality which was released in 2024. Support for the tour was PVRIS and ARKAI. Stirling created her YouTube channel in 2007 and has since then exceeded 13 million subscribers and over 3 billion total views. Her live performances are known for lots of dancing, costume changes, and flashing lights. Almost like going to see a Broadway performance or a play. It’s just something you have to go see for yourself to believe. The middle of the tour saw Stirling perform at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, California. The venue was packed almost to sold-out status by the time Stirling was ready to take the stage.
The lights went out and the packed venue cheered as Stirling came out and started her show with her Led Zeppelin cover of “Kashmir.” The dancing and violin started right away as Stirling’s dancers joined her onstage. You were immediately mesmerized by the visuals, dancing, and music. The next few songs included “Underground,” “Artemis,” and “Foreverglow.” Every song performed was beautiful and something was done for every song. You never know what surprises would happen next. During the performance of “Shatter Me,” Stirling took the sky and showed her acrobatic skills as she hung upside down and still flawlessly played her violin. The song originally features Lzzy Hale of Halestorm. The performance of “Kintsugi” off the latest album was one of the most beautiful songs performed as Stirling was lifted up to the sky and seemed to transform into a butterfly with a long drape underneath her and then sprouting butterfly wings. One of the more fun segments of the show was the Stirling performed part of “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” (The Charlie Daniels Band) which was very appropriate for her show. Stirling then took a quick break to speak to the audience. Starting with talking about the death of her father and best friend as well as feeling grateful for getting to perform in front the audience and hoping that they like the performance so far as well as the costumes. She also thanked her bandmates, especially her drummer Drew Steen who has been with her since 2012. For the finale of the show, Stirling brought out a special guest in the form of Chrissy Costanza who sings for the band Against the Current. She sang the lyrics beautifully and it was only matched by Stirling’s dancing and violin. The entire performance from start to finish was amazing and beautiful. She’s a one-of-a-kind performer that should be seen by anyone and everyone regardless of your taste in music. She actively tours, so be sure to catch her when she comes to your area.
