Lacuna Coil: The Bellwether - Los Angeles, CA - 4/10/26

Italian gothic metal band Lacuna Coil released their tenth studio album Sleepless Empire in 2025. Since then, they have been actively touring in support. They announced a headlining USA tour for the year. Their support for this tour comes from VOWWS and Escape the Fate. Halfway into the tour, they made a stop at the Bellwether in Los Angeles, California. A Friday night was a great setting to let off some steam after another work week. Lacuna Coil has a dedicated fanbase, so it’s no surprise to see fans lined up even before doors opened.
The venue was nicely packed by the time Lacuna Coil hit the stage. The lights went out and the audience cheered as the band members came out and started their show with Layers of Time, the lead single from their previous 2019 album, Black Anima. The last one to come out was singer Cristina Scabbia. The band was now in full effect as they played the song to perfection. The next song was one of their most popular songs, Reckless. Fans love this song and especially love singing along to it. A lot of them were even head banging while singing along. A few more greatest hits songs were performed which included “Spellbound,” “Heaven’s a Lie,” and “Blood, Tears, Dust.” The fans loved every minute and there was even a mosh pit in the middle of the floor. Giving their music even more life was the impressive light show they had that was different for every song. The final song of the show seemed to be “Nothing Stands in Our Way.” Lacuna Coil thanked the audience for coming out and left the stage. The fans kept chanting for more music. After a few minutes, the band came back out and granted their wish. The first encore was “The Siege,” the first song from the newest album. During the performance of “I Wish You Were Dead,” vocalist Andrea Ferro would throw out inflatable knives to match the theme of the song. The final song of the night would be “Never Dawn,” the final song from the newest album. The energy never left the venue, and everyone was having a great time during the bands. Lacuna Coil has been touring nonstop and surely it won’t be long before they come back to their dedicated American fans again.
