Arch Enemy and Fit for an Autopsy: The Wiltern - Los Angeles, CA - 4/15/25

Swedish melodic death metal giants Arch Enemy announced a big tour across the USA and some Canada dates. Joining them on tour is Fit for an Autopsy, Baest, and Thrown into Exile. The second stop on the tour was at the Wiltern in Los Angeles, California. Even before doors opened, fans were lined up to see a big lineup like this.
Fit for an Autopsy is a deathcore band from New Jersey. In 2024, they released their seventh studio album, The Nothing That Is. The lights went out and the packed venue cheered with excitement. FFAA came out and started their show with “Lower Purpose”, one of the songs from the new album. The fans in the pit wasted no time in moshing to the brutality of the music. Up next was “Red Horizon”, another song from the new album. All the band members were actively running on stage as their own music was pumping them up and driving the fans wild. More brutal deathcore tunes were played including “Hostage”, “Pandora”, and “The Sea of Tragic Beasts”. No matter which song was played, vocalist Joe Badolato unleashed brutal vocals to perfection. The final song of the show was “Far from Heaven”. The fans kept moshing and loved every minute of the performance. FFAA thanked the audience for coming out and left the stage for the headlining band of the tour.
Arch Enemy is one of Sweden’s best bands. On March 25, 2025, they released their twelfth studio album, Blood Dynasty. Plenty of fans were in attendance as they sported Arch Enemy merch. The lights went out once again and the now fully packed venue roared with excitement as all the band members made their way to the stage and started the guitar intro to “Deceiver, Deceiver”. Vocalist Alissa White-Gluz was the last to come out and started to unleash her harsh vocals. Ther next track was one of their most popular songs, “Ravenous”. A great and shredding song to sing along to the guitars. The third song performed was “Dream Stealer”, the first song from the new album. The fans still had plenty of energy and kept moshing to the fast music. More classics were played which included “My Apocalypse”, “War Eternal”, “As the Pages Burn”, and “No Gods, No Masters”. All the band members were interactive on stage with Alissa headbanging most of the night. Every song was played to perfection. The last song of the show was “We Will Rise”. Once the song ended, Arch Enemy left the stage. After a quick break, they came back out for some encores. The first two encores were “Avalanche” and “Snow Bound”. To end the show, Arch Enemy played their most popular song, “Nemesis”. With the intensity of the song, the crowd continued to mosh and release any leftover energy they had left. The song ended, Arch Enemy bowed to the audience then left the stage. It was a great show overall and it’s just getting started. If you see them coming to your area, be sure to go see them!
